Mental Health Therapist Full-Time, Onsite Position in Gilroy, CA
Blazer Jobs is partnering with the school district in Gilroy, CA, to find a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist for the current school year. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity with competitive pay, vision, medical, and dental options, as well as advisory support and professional development opportunities.
Position Details:
- Hours: 8:00 AM 3:30 PM (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, 35 hours per week)
- Duration: ASAP June 13, 2025, with a possibility of renewal for the following school year
- Caseload: Approximately 20-30 students, depending on the number of students and type of services being provided
- Location: Multiple school sites serving students with counseling services on their IEPs
Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Work on student goals, track progress, and participate in IEP meetings to present progress and assist in developing new goals
- Work closely with staff to ensure the mental health needs of students are being addressed
Qualifications:
- Must have a PPS Credential (School Counselor or School Social Worker)
- Starting at $48/hour
- Experience working with students in a school setting is preferred
