We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Pasco County, FL for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time position provides the opportunity to work directly with K-12 students, offering specialized therapeutic interventions to enhance students functional abilities and promote their development.
? Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students functional abilities and challenges in the school environment.
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy programs tailored to students' needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to integrate therapeutic activities into the school day.
- Monitor and document students' progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
- Provide training and support to staff and parents to ensure effective implementation of strategies.
- Maintain records in compliance with state and district regulations.
? Requirements:
- Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Active OT License in the state of Florida.
- Prior experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
