Minimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to assess students' fine motor, sensory, and functional skills.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention programs tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to enhance students classroom participation and performance.
- Provide therapy sessions to improve motor planning, sensory regulation, and self-care skills.
- Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust interventions as needed.
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Requirements:
- A Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- A valid Minnesota Occupational Therapist license issued by the Minnesota Board of Occupational Therapy Practice.
- Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- Previous school-based experience is preferred.
