Minimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform evaluations to identify motor, sensory, and functional needs.
- Create individualized intervention plans based on student assessments.
- Provide direct therapy to address challenges impacting educational performance.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to develop strategies for student success.
- Document progress and participate in IEP meetings.
- Ensure all therapy services comply with state and district policies.
Requirements:
- A Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- A valid Ohio Occupational Therapist license from the Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Trainers Board.
- Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- School-based experience is highly preferred.
