Job Description: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in California. This full-time position is available immediately and will extend through the end of the school year. The role involves providing services at one to two schools, primarily at the elementary level, and collaborating with a supportive team of professionals.
Position Details:
- Start Date / End Date: ASAP - End of School Year
- Hours per Week: Full Time
- Number of Schools Assigned: 1-2
- Caseload/Workload:
- Approximately 50 students
- Caseload includes mild/moderate, moderate/severe, or autism SDC (Special Day Classes)
- Assignments are supported by a second therapist, either part-time or full-time, based on numbers
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in alignment with IEP (Individualized Education Plan) goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other staff to ensure student success
- Document and track student progress effectively using the SEIS IEP system
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input on student needs
