Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School SLPs for a full-time role with school districts in the Lapeer, MIarea. We are seeking dedicated professionals passionate about making a difference in the lives of students.
Requirements:
- Valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (preferred)
- Recent school-based experience (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with speech and language impairments
- Provide direct therapy services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' educational goals
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and other school-based meetings
- Stay current with best practices and developments in the field of speech-language pathology
