Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for a full-time position at a K-8 school in North Carolina. This role involves providing direct and consultative services to students, ensuring they receive the support necessary to succeed academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to 31 students.
- Offer consultative services to an additional 7 students.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services.
Schedule:
- Full school day, Monday through Friday.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current North Carolina SLP license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Experience working with K-8 students is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
