Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Hours per Week: 27.5 billable hours (30-minute unpaid lunch break)
Job Details:
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to join our team at an elementary K-8 school. The SLP will work at one site and provide essential speech-language services to students in learning support classrooms, with some students on the Autism Spectrum (ASD). The role may involve utilizing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices, such as iPads with communication applications like LAMP.
Responsibilities:
- Provide group and individual therapy for students.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Pennsylvania SLP license and CCC-SLP certification.
- Experience with AAC devices and communication technology preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
Caseload:
- Elementary K-8 students.
- Workload includes learning support classrooms and a mix of ASD students.
