Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
- Stay current on best practices and maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals.
Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following local and state requirements:
- Hold a valid Texas Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with children or in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of IEP processes and requirements.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass all required background checks and fingerprinting.
