Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a school district setting. The ideal candidate will work with students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students.
- Provide therapy to improve speech, language, and communication skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and services provided.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning and progress discussions.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional references required.
