Key Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering therapy services to students.
- Implement and follow therapy plans and activities as directed by an SLP.
- Conduct assessments and monitor progress to ensure effective therapy outcomes.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students communication goals.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, student progress, and any changes to treatment plans.
- Provide support to special education students and help them develop essential communication skills.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited SLPA program.
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license in the state of Texas.
- Compliance with all local and state certification and regulatory requirements.
- Experience working with special education students and families is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
