Job Description: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Location: Texas
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: May 23rd
Hours: Up to 40 hours/week (Open to Part-Time and Full-Time applicants)
Caseload: Elementary students across 2-3 school sites
Student Population: Students with speech impairments, emotional disturbances, and autism (AU)
Potential Future Opportunity: May be open to VOCO (Virtual Opportunities)
Requirements: Monolingual (English)
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with speech and language assessments, therapy sessions, and progress monitoring.
- Work closely with certified Speech-Language Pathologists to support student development.
- Provide individualized therapy under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Collaborate with school staff to implement and modify speech and language interventions.
- Support students with speech impairments, emotional disturbance, and autism in various classroom settings.
