We are seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to join our team in Austin, TX. Key Responsibilities:

Counseling & Support:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students dealing with emotional, social, and behavioral challenges.
- Teach coping skills, stress management techniques, and conflict resolution strategies to help students thrive.
Assessment & Personalized Plans:
Conduct assessments to determine the emotional and social needs of students. Develop and implement individualized intervention plans that support each students unique needs and track progress. Collaboration:
Work alongside teachers, staff, and families to create a strong support network for students. Participate in team meetings to discuss and refine intervention strategies for the best student outcomes. Crisis Management & Long-Term Solutions:
Provide immediate emotional support during crises, ensuring student well-being. Collaborate with school personnel to implement sustainable, long-term solutions for students who require ongoing support. Advocacy & Education:
Promote mental health awareness and social-emotional learning (SEL) within the school environment. Integrate wellness programs and mental health education into the school culture, fostering a supportive atmosphere. Qualifications:
- Education: Masters degree in School Social Work or related field.
- Licensure: Active School Social Worker license in Texas (or eligible for licensure).
- Experience: Experience working with K-12 students in a school or mental health setting is preferred but not required.
- Skills: Strong communication, crisis management, and problem-solving skills, with a genuine commitment to supporting students.
