Blazer Jobs is partnering with a school district in the Woodland, CA area to hire a full-time Physical Therapist for the 2024-2025 school year. This role is within a special education setting, offering an exciting opportunity to support students' physical development and contribute to their educational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services to students in a special education environment.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with IEP teams.
- Conduct physical assessments, set therapy goals, and track student progress.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
Requirements:
- State licensure and certifications required (please specify the exact certifications needed).
- A minimum of one year of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
