Position: Part-Time Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Schedule: 1-2 days per week, ASAP - June 5, 2025
Caseload:
- 6 students in Kindergarten to 4th grade
- 6 students in 5th to 8th grade
- Younger students use AAC devices
- 1 bilingual student (Spanish-English)
- Preference for bilingual candidates; will accept English-only candidates
- Middle school students are primarily in a life skills program
- 3 students with Down Syndrome
- 1 student with autism
- AAC device experience needed
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students in a virtual setting
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and treatment plans
- Utilize AAC devices effectively for younger students
- Conduct assessments and provide evaluations for new and existing students
Qualifications:
- Must have an active IL SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Experience with AAC devices
- Starting at $55/hour
