Full-Time School Psychologist - Redford, MI (Current School Year)
Blazer Jobs is partnering with Redford Union School District to fill a full-time, onsite School Psychologist position for the current school year. As part of the team, you'll play a key role in supporting the mental health and academic success of students.
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop intervention plans.
- Support students with emotional and behavioral challenges.
- Participate in the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling services as needed to promote mental health.
- Engage in crisis intervention when necessary.
- Offer training and guidance to staff on mental health issues and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Education: Michigan School Psychologist Certification (Full approval preferred; temporary approval accepted (310)).
- Experience: Relevant experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Skills: Strong assessment and intervention skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
