Job Description:
Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position in Concord, NC for the Spring 2025 semester. This is an exciting opportunity to work with K-12 students and provide essential speech therapy services in a supportive school environment. As an SLP, you will assess communication disorders, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and collaborate with teachers and staff to help students achieve their communication goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct formal assessments for students with communication disorders.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Provide ongoing consultation services to classroom teachers and other educational professionals.
- Work with school personnel to educate about the impact of speech disorders on communication and learning.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records for compliance and progress tracking.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Valid North Carolina SLP license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience working in a school setting preferred but not required.
Position Details:
- Location: Onsite in Concord, NC
- Schedule: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week) with flexible hours based on your availability.
