Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time role with school districts in the Olympia, WA area. This is a great opportunity to work with a supportive team while providing essential services to students in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and screenings for students with speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to design and implement effective therapy plans
- Monitor student progress and modify therapy goals and strategies as necessary
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, treatments, and IEP documentation
- Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities as needed
Qualifications:
- Active Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- Experience working in a school setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
