Blazer Jobs is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide onsite support in Olympia, WA. This role involves working with a single student on a highly individualized communication program, focusing on social cognition, social language, social problem-solving, and emotional regulation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide SLP therapy for 15 minutes weekly per the student's IEP.
- Dedicate 30 minutes weekly for planning and preparation.
- Complete quarterly progress notes (30 minutes each for four remaining segments).
- Allocate 3 hours for IEP-related activities.
- Address the student's unmet IEP Speech services by doubling therapy sessions through the end of the school year.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Active Washington State SLP license.
- Experience working with students with specific social and emotional communication needs.
- Strong understanding of IEP development and compliance.
