Minimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.
Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist for a full-time position in a school district in Phoenix, Arizona. We collaborate with schools to provide students with the special education support they need.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students' functional abilities and challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to enhance students' academic and social performance.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student development.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting for students.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Arizona.
- Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- Minimum of one year of professional experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
