Blazer Jobs is actively seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position within school districts in the Santa Clara, CA area. Key Responsibilities:
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans for students based on assessment results.
- Providing direct therapy services to address speech articulation, language development, and fluency needs.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students progress.
- Monitoring and documenting student progress toward IEP goals and adjusting interventions as needed.
- Participating in IEP meetings and providing input on students speech and language needs.
- Offering guidance and resources to school staff and families on communication strategies.
Qualifications:
To apply, applicants must meet the following local and state requirements:
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program (required).
- Active California state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (required).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (preferred).
- Prior experience working in schools or with pediatric populations (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of IDEA and the IEP process.
- Exceptional communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
