Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for students.
- Provide direct therapy to address speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication challenges.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
- Stay compliant with district, state, and federal policies and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Active state Speech-Language Pathology License.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFYs are welcome to apply.
- Experience working in a school setting is a plus.
- Ability to pass a state and federal background check.
- Knowledge of state and local education laws and regulations.
