About the Role:
Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a passionate School Psychologist to join our team in Holyoke, MA, for the current school year. If you're committed to fostering student well-being, providing impactful support, and collaborating with educators and families, this is your chance to shine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
- Design and implement effective strategies and interventions to support academic and emotional success
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to foster positive learning environments
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Develop and assist in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to ensure ongoing success
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
- State Certification as a School Psychologist
- Proven experience working with students in diverse educational settings
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
