Blazerworks is actively seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in partnership with a school district in Lynn, MA, for the 2024-2025 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' communication skills and overall academic success.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students' needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success.
- Conduct screenings and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state regulations.
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff training, and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Active Massachusetts SLP License (or ability to obtain before start date).
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous school-based experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
