Position Overview
As a Speech-Language Pathologist in this school district, you will play a key role in diagnosing, treating, and supporting students with speech and language disorders. Job Requirements
- Must meet all qualifications and requirements set by local and state regulations to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Washington.
- Experience working with special education students and families is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), speech therapy techniques, and behavioral management strategies.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, and school staff.
Typical Job Duties
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet students IEP goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, student progress, and treatment plans.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide insights into students progress and future goals.
- Offer guidance to teachers on strategies for supporting students with speech and language needs in the classroom.
- Ensure compliance with state, local, and federal regulations related to speech-language services.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay rate: $45$52 per hour, paid weekly via direct deposit.
