Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to support students social-emotional development.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create intervention strategies.
- Support Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans by developing and implementing social-emotional goals.
- Serve as a liaison between schools, families, and community agencies to connect students with resources.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker endorsement.
- Minimum of one year of professional experience in a school or related setting.
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and student support systems.
