Position Requirements:
To qualify for this role, applicants must meet the following local and state requirements:
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Active Texas licensure as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP).
- Completion of all state-mandated clearances and background checks.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
As a School Psychologist, your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs.
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Providing counseling services to students, teachers, and parents.
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and other staff to support student success.
- Offering crisis intervention and support when necessary.
- Monitoring and reporting student progress to stakeholders.
