Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists for a full-time role with school districts in the Olympia, WA area. We are seeking dedicated professionals passionate about helping students overcome communication challenges to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
- Provide therapy sessions in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records, document student progress, and prepare required reports.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting for students with special needs.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Current Washington State licensure or eligibility to obtain one.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFs are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
