We are partnering with a local school district to find a dedicated and experienced SLPA to work full-time, supporting students in achieving their communication goals. Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in delivering therapy services to students with communication disorders
- Implement speech and language treatment plans as directed by the SLP
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and provide feedback to the SLP
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure the best outcomes for students
- Support students in both individual and group therapy sessions
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet the diverse needs of students
Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience working as an SLPA, preferably in a school setting
- Current SLPA certification and compliance with all federal and state licensing and certification requirements
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a collaborative, school-based environment
- Passion for helping students achieve their speech and language goals
