Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified School Psychologist to join our team in Bloomingdale, IL. The successful candidate will support students' academic and emotional development by conducting assessments, providing counseling, and collaborating with educators and parents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with teachers and parents.
- Offer individual and group counseling to address student issues such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges.
- Advise educators on effective strategies to support diverse learners in the classroom.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and intervention strategies.
- Implement programs to promote positive behavior and mental health within the school.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement.
- At least one year of professional experience as a school psychologist.
- Comprehensive knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
