Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Psychologists for a full-time role with school districts in the Orange, NJ area.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Active New Jersey Department of Education School Psychologist Certification
- Experience as a School Psychologist in an educational setting
- Must meet all local and state requirements for school-based practice
State Requirements:
- Completion of an approved graduate program in School Psychology
- Passing scores on the Praxis School Psychologist Exam
- Valid New Jersey Educational Services Certification with a School Psychologist endorsement
- Background check and fingerprint clearance per New Jersey Department of Education regulations
- Compliance with all district and state guidelines for school-based professionals
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention services
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to support student success
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Maintain thorough and confidential documentation
