Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a school district near Vallejo, CA. This position will provide support to a high school caseload for the 2024-2025 School Year with high renewal potential. If you have experience working with students and are committed to helping them succeed academically and socially, we encourage you to apply.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Assist in implementing speech and language therapy programs for high school students
- Document progress and report on students' speech and language development
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to therapy plans
- Support classroom teachers and other school professionals in addressing students needs
Required Qualifications:
- Active SLPA certification or license in California
- Experience with school-based speech therapy or equivalent experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Passion for working with students and helping them reach their potential
