Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Psychologists for a full-time position with school districts in the Yuma, AZ area. We are seeking dedicated professionals who meet all state and local requirements to support students academic, social, and emotional development.
Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered:
- Hold a Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Possess an active Arizona School Psychologist Certificate issued by the Arizona Department of Education.
- Have previous experience as a School Psychologist in a school-based setting.
- Meet all state and local requirements, including:
- Passing an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card through the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
- Compliance with Arizona state laws and district policies regarding school-based professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational assessments to evaluate students cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success.
- Assist in developing behavioral management programs and provide staff training.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with Arizona Department of Education regulations.
