Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time position with school districts in the Yuma, AZ area. We are looking for dedicated professionals passionate about helping students develop essential communication skills.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including:

Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Certification: Active Arizona SLP License issued by the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS)
Credentialing: Arizona Department of Education Certification for Speech-Language Pathologists
Experience: Previous experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting preferred
Clearances: Must pass all state and district-required background checks
Compliance: Meet any additional district-specific requirements

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities for this Speech-Language Pathologist position include:

Conducting assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication disorders
Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans (IEPs)
Providing direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other support staff to maximize student progress
Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and district guidelines
Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to student success planning
