Blazer Jobs is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a part-time contract position in Attleboro, Massachusetts. This position will cover the current school year and the extended school year, offering the opportunity to work with students in a supportive school environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with special education students and their families, although all qualified professionals are encouraged to apply. This role provides an excellent chance to work with a dedicated team of educators while making a positive impact on students speech and language development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students referred for special education services.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Provide direct therapy to students with various speech and language impairments.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student goals and progress.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
- Document therapy sessions, evaluations, and progress in compliance with district and school requirements.
- Assist in the creation and review of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
- Provide staff training and guidance on communication strategies for students with speech and language challenges.
- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices related to speech therapy and special education.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with special education students and their families.
- Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and effective intervention strategies.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Massachusetts state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is required.
