Overview:
Due to growth, Peak Physical Therapy is now hiring a full-time or part-time Physical Therapist for an Outpatient Orthopedics position in Cumberland, RI. Full-time availability is preferred. 40 hours per week are available. Part-time candidates with at least 20 hours of availability, or 3 weekdays of availability per week, will also be considered.

Caseload / Patient Population:
The Physical Therapist hired will work with a variety of orthopedic diagnoses. The clinic primarily focuses on general orthopedics. Each PT on staff has their own specialty area.
The patients range from newborn to geriatric with a large athletic population in between. Patient care is 1:1, providing direct patient care with 1-hour evaluations and *30-minute+ treatment sessions.
The PT hired will have their own treatment room, and adequate breaks will be provided to ensure that notes can be completed.
Our ideal candidate is a passionate, empathic team player with an interest in evidence-based and patient-centered approach to care. Mckenzie Method (MDT) interest preferred and bonuses for MDT certification as well as OCS. New grads are welcome, and mentorship is available. If hired for this role, the team will ensure that you are fully comfortable. The focus for this clinic is on the quality of patient care.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time or part-time position. The clinic is open Monday to Friday. No weekends or holidays!
The ideal candidate will be open to 2 early shifts, starting at 7 am, and 2 late shifts ending at 7 pm, allowing the clinic to be open from 7 am to 7 pm Monday to Thursday, and 7 am to 4 pm on Friday.
Compensation and Benefits:
Physical Therapists are paid a competitive salary based on experience and specialty certifications. The salary range for full-time is $67,000 to $95,000. Part-time candidates will be paid on an hourly basis.
Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, paid holidays, retirement plans, and student loan repayment. Professional development is encouraged and includes reimbursement for CEUs, APTA membership fees, and other certifications. The PT hired is strongly recommended to take Part A and Part B of the McKenzie courses.
Job Requirements:
- Must be legally able to work in the United States without restriction.
- Eligible for Rhode Island state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Full-time is preferred. Both full-time and part-time candidates will be considered.
- Prior experience is not required. New grads are welcome.
