BlazerJobs is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position at a school in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive speech therapy services to students, helping them develop the communication skills necessary for academic success and social interactions. This is a full-time, school-based position with a consistent schedule Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students with a variety of communication needs, including speech articulation, language development, fluency, and social communication.
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments to determine therapy needs and progress.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's goals.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure therapy goals are integrated into the students' daily classroom activities.
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to ensure continued growth.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Plans for students.
- Offer consultation and support to school staff on best practices for supporting students' communication skills in the classroom.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of therapy services, student progress, and communication with parents and school staff.

Experience & Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from an accredited program.
- Valid Texas state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Previous experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, along with strategies for effective intervention.
- Experience with IEP development and a commitment to collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
