Key Responsibilities:
- Perform speech and language assessments and evaluations for students in K-12
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans to address speech, language, and communication needs
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to create and modify IEPs
- Track and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing valuable insight into student development and goals
- Stay current with best practices and attend professional development opportunities as needed
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active California SLP License
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred
- Experience working with K-12 students is a plus
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to engage students and work within a multidisciplinary team environment
