Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) for a full-time position with school districts in the Oakland, CA area. Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements to be considered for this role:
- Education: Associates or Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant studies or a related field
- Certification: Active California SLPA license issued by the Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology & Hearing Aid Dispensers Board (SLPAHADB)
- Experience: Previous experience as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in a school or pediatric setting is required
- Compliance: Must meet all state and district background check and fingerprinting requirements

Key Responsibilities
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in implementing therapy plans
- Provide direct speech and language intervention services to students
- Document student progress and assist in preparing reports
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Follow all state and district guidelines for therapy and intervention practices
