Blazer Jobs is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist to join a school-based team in Santa Clarita, CA. We are committed to helping students reach their fullest potential and succeed in school environments. As a Physical Therapist, you will be working with children to help them develop gross motor skills and improve their physical mobility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide therapy services to students with physical disabilities and other motor impairments.
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for students.
- Assess students' physical capabilities and create tailored therapy plans.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to track student progress and adjust therapy as needed.
- Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment and physical accommodations.
- Document therapy progress and communicate with staff and families.
Education, License, and Certification Requirements:
- Masters or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy.
- Valid California State Physical Therapist License.
- Must have a current CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist in a school-based setting.
