Blazer Jobs is seeking an experienced School Psychologist to join our team in Santa Clarita, CA. We are looking for a passionate professional to support students in their academic, emotional, and social growth. As a key member of the educational team, the School Psychologist will collaborate with educators, parents, and students to provide high-quality mental health services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students with special needs.
- Provide individual and group counseling for students to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to promote student well-being.
- Conduct crisis intervention and provide support to at-risk students.
- Participate in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Education, License, and Certification Requirements:
- Masters or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid California State License as a School Psychologist.
- Certification from the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a school setting.
- Must have experience with students in the K-12 grade range.
