Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals.
- Provide counseling and intervention services to students facing academic, social, or emotional challenges.
- Consult with teachers and staff to promote a supportive learning environment and address student concerns.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop strategies that enhance student success.
Qualifications:
- Specialist-level degree (Ed.S.) or higher in School Psychology from a state-approved or National Association of School Psychologists (NASP)-approved program.
- Valid National Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential issued by the National School Psychology Certification Board.
- Minimum of one year of professional experience in a school setting.
- Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
