Qualifications:
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements to be considered:

Hold an Associates or Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related field

Possess an active North Carolina SLPA license issued by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists

Have prior experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant, preferably in a school setting

Pass all required background checks and fingerprinting

Responsibilities:

Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Provide direct speech and language therapy services under SLP supervision

Work with students on articulation, fluency, language, and communication skills

Document student progress and session notes accurately

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and therapists to support student goals

Maintain compliance with state and district policies for speech therapy services
