Job Requirements:
- Must meet all local and state licensing requirements for Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Louisiana.
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Valid SLP license issued by the Louisiana Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
- ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred.
- Previous experience working with special education students and families is highly preferred.
Job Duties:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies tailored to each students specific needs.
- Provide therapy services in both group and individual settings to address speech and language delays, articulation issues, fluency disorders, and more.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress and create a comprehensive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, communicate regularly with families, and participate in IEP meetings.
- Assist in creating a supportive, inclusive classroom environment where students can thrive.
