We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team, providing teletherapy services to K-12 students across Arizona for the full school year.
Position Overview:
As a Virtual SLP, you will play a vital role in enhancing students' communication skills and supporting their academic success. You will assess student needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with educators and families to help every student thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Deliver virtual therapy sessions to students experiencing speech and language challenges.
- Work closely with teachers and staff to create effective strategies for student support.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute to educational planning.
- Provide training and resources for staff and families on speech and language development.
- Stay updated on best practices in speech-language pathology and teletherapy.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Arizona.
- Experience in an educational setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Willingness to collaborate with teams and adapt to student needs.
