Position Overview:
Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist for a full-time role in Palatka, Florida. The successful candidate will provide therapeutic services to students, helping them achieve their academic and developmental goals through personalized support.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify around 30 students K-12functional needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement therapy sessions that promote fine motor skills, sensory integration, and adaptive techniques
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapy goals into the classroom and home environments
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Document services, progress, and evaluations in compliance with state and district guidelines
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid Florida state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist
- At least one year of experience in pediatric or school-based settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with both FRONTLINE and PIER software a plus
- Ability to pass background checks as required by state regulations
