Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced bilingual Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time role within school districts in the Pawtucket, RI area.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students speech, language, and communication needs to develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders, focusing on improving communication skills in educational settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate and timely records of assessments, progress reports, and communication with families and staff.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress.
- Offer bilingual therapy services in both English and Spanish to meet the needs of a diverse student population.
- Support students with speech and language difficulties through individualized and group sessions.
Requirements:
- Rhode Island SLP license.
- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field.
- Completion of a national background check.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
- Experience working in schools or with school-aged children in a speech-language pathology capacity is preferred.
