Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Physical Therapists for a part-time role within school districts in the Troy, NC area.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students' physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct physical therapy services to students to improve mobility, posture, and coordination.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other therapists to integrate physical therapy into the students daily routine and learning environment.
- Monitor and document student progress towards physical therapy goals and adjust interventions as needed.
- Provide training and consultation to staff and families to support students' physical needs in the school setting.
Requirements:
- Active North Carolina Physical Therapist licensure.
- Bachelors degree in physical therapy from an accredited program; a Masters or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
- Previous experience providing physical therapy services in a school or pediatric setting.
- Ability to pass a background check as required by school district guidelines.
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and the special education process is highly preferred.
