Blazer Jobs is seeking a motivated and experienced School-based COTA in Maricopa, AZ. This is an excellent opportunity to help students improve their functional skills and achieve educational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide therapy under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Assist in the development and implementation of IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel
- Maintain documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Adapt activities to help students participate in school-related tasks
Requirements:
- Arizona COTA licensure
- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- 1+ year of experience, preferably in a school setting
- Understanding of pediatric occupational therapy
