Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join an elementary school in Okeechobee, FL. The SLP will work with young students, providing support to those with speech and language challenges, and help them succeed in their academic and social development.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans (IEPs).
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student development.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
Requirements:
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Florida state SLP license.
- ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred.
- At least one year of experience working with elementary school students.
